Grounding Yin Yoga

Leave the stress of daily life behind and reconnect with yourself. The calming practice of Yin Yoga invites you to gently settle into the evening with an open heart.

Yin Yoga is a slow and mindful practice. You ease into postures, holding them gently for three to five minutes or sometimes longer. This extended, passive stretching engages the fascial tissue, helping to release knots and adhesions that can lead to discomfort and chronic pain. I also incorporate myofascial release techniques, using tennis balls or other fascia balls to apply targeted pressure and stimulate the myofascial system - the muscles and the connective tissues surrounding them.

This practice offers your body space to let go of tension and fully settle into a state of relaxation. As your breath flows freely, your body unwinds and finds stillness.

Surrender and release. This Yin Yoga sequence is designed to help you let go of the day's demands and ground yourself in the present moment, finding peace and connection within.
